Don't forget Saturday is Christmas Tree Lighting Day
They have been preparing the Christmas tree all week at CocoWalk for the grand tree lighting ceremony on Saturday, November 30 from 2 to 8 pm.
Stop by for the holiday event which will include Santa's arrival to Coconut Grove, plus lots of fun holiday activities, a bounce house, exotic petting zoo, free popcorn and snow cones and arts and crafts, pictures with Santa Claus will be available and also a live performance of the Nutcracker by the Coconut Grove Ballet Studio. Radio Disney Miami will be on-site with the Radio Disney Miami Road Crew from 2:00 to 3:30 pm
For the grand finale, the tree will be lit at about 6:30 pm and local school groups will sing Christmas carols.
The event will include the participation and performances on stage by children from local schools, various programs and studios including:
• Coconut Grove Elementary School
• St. Stephen’s Elementary School
• Coconut Grove Ballet Studio
• the Miami Conservatory of Music
• Academy of Arts and Minds
• Thomas Armour Youth Ballet Tap Team
