Bright Minds Film Festival

A group of talented and pioneering film and entertainment professionals will debut a series of short independent films they produced on location in South Florida at the inaugural Bright Minds Film Festival on Tuesday, November 26 at 7:30 pm.

Six short films will be screened: "Alone", "Eternal Emotions", "Happiness", "One Life", "The Perfect Stroke" and "Cueva de Ilusiones," all either in English, Spanish or Portuguese with English subtitles. The goal of the organizers is to establish the festival as an annual new independent short film festival platform to showcase the talent of local, national and international professionals on a competitive basis. As one of the highlights of the evening, the first "Bright Minds Film Festival Life Achievement Award" will be given to internationally renowned Mexican television and film actress and director Adriana Barraza, who has been nominated for a Golden Globe, two Screen Actors Guild Awards, a Broadcast Films Critics Association, and an Academy Award for best supporting actress for her role in "Babel".
