Thousands attend Grovetoberfest
Another successful Grovetoberfest took place Saturday. Thousands of people crowded Peacock Park to partake of the beer festival and tomorrow, Sunday, it's all being done again, but as the Coconut Grove Seafood Festival also in Peacock Park.
It seemed like the whole Grove was out and all of their friends from other areas of the county. The Great Grove Bed Race had a bed on display, and these lovely ladies along with so many more people were featured on Facebook as they passed by and got into and/or signed up for the November 3 race.
Beer, food, fun, it was all there. Perfect day, too; sunny and perfect to try all that craft beer.
As closing time came, people were reluctant to leave. The sky was bright red and so were a few noses.

What was terrible about it? I have friends that go every year and they have a blast.
It was a fun event. People were having fun, laughing, dancing and being social. There was not too much trouble that I saw (as far as people getting drunk or nasty (just one guy and he was escorted out) The organizers did a good job. The people had fun.
