They were on the agenda
There was a comment left, insinuating that I made up the agenda for last night's Village of Center Grove meeting, where the mayor and Commissioner Sarnoff were on the agenda. Apparently many people showed up because they read this in the Grapevine, their no show is now being blamed on me, rather than them for not showing up. That's how it works here in the Grove. Blame the messenger.
Anyway, here is the agenda as I received it and I received this by many people, especially from those on the Stop Grove Bay group. You can see I marked both the mayor and commissioner in yellow, but their typeface is so much larger than the rest that you can't miss it anyway. And you'll notice the headline of the email that went out clearly states, "Mayor to speak at 8 pm."
Now if they were removed from the agenda that they passed out at the meeting last night, that's another story, but this is what was sent out to announce the meeting. And I am assuming the mayor headline was to entice people to show up. As for Sarnoff, he is usually at all of these Village of Center Grove meetings and again, he's on the agenda.
You cannot blame me or the Village of Center Grove if the mayor and commissioner did not show up.
