Concerned parents getting their children tested

Mario Vallejo, center, from Univision, interviews Dr. Gary Kramer.
Dr. Gary Kramer, MD, FAAP well known Pediatrician on LeJeune Road near the Old Smokey toxic park site and a block from Merrie Christmas Park (also toxic), has been getting many calls from concerned parents. Mario Vallejo, news reporter for Univision interviewed Dr. Kramer this afternoon regarding children testing positive for high amounts of heavy metals that have been found in the contaminated parks. The report is on at 6:15 tonight, Thursday, on channel 23.

Mario said that this is also not limited to City of Miami Parks and many other Parks in Miami-Dade County are also suspected of being contaminated.

One parent feels that the aches and pains that her 5 year old daughter is feeling could be the result of heavy metals that were found to be in her body after testing. The young girl frequented Blanche Park in Coconut Grove for most of her life.

The tests are not all covered by insurance, parents wonder if the City or County will cover the cost.

The Miami Herald reported today that the water supply may be effected now.

"pay" & "sue" "sue & pay" "IF" there were no locks on the gate to the children's park most modern parents would, for some strange motivation, would bring their children into a contaminated park; I mean after all look at all those loving pets/dogs and their masters/today in this contaminated park - - - talk about STUPID!
