Concerned parents getting their children tested
Mario Vallejo, center, from Univision, interviews Dr. Gary Kramer. |
Mario said that this is also not limited to City of Miami Parks and many other Parks in Miami-Dade County are also suspected of being contaminated.
One parent feels that the aches and pains that her 5 year old daughter is feeling could be the result of heavy metals that were found to be in her body after testing. The young girl frequented Blanche Park in Coconut Grove for most of her life.
The tests are not all covered by insurance, parents wonder if the City or County will cover the cost.
The Miami Herald reported today that the water supply may be effected now.

Whoever ordered the dumping chemicals must pay even though they may be dead already.
I feel so bad for these families i hope they sue the city for every penny they got
"pay" & "sue" "sue & pay" "IF" there were no locks on the gate to the children's park most modern parents would, for some strange motivation, would bring their children into a contaminated park; I mean after all look at all those loving pets/dogs and their masters/today in this contaminated park - - - talk about STUPID!
If the park was contaminated, it would be closed
Its not looking good for the grove from what officials are talking about.alot of parks will be closing and money taken away from the grove.not good at all one step forward 5 steps back for the poor old grove
