Court case against Grove Bay thrown out
As expected, Grace Solares' court date came today and the case was thrown out. The judge felt that they could not throw out 70,000 early votes. Not sure why, they weren't counted yet.

An appeal is being filed in the 3rd circuit court.

The judge said nothing about the 70k votes. He simply ruled she did not meet her burden, the lawsuit proceeds on.
This is what is so great about the USA. Everyone gets their day in court. Again and again. It will be interesting to see what happens.
It is a safe bet we'll be having drinks at Shula's waterfront bar before this is decided by the courts.
I was given permission by the court administrators to videotape the hearing, and hope to have the whole thing up on my website tonight. The hearing lasted approximately 1 hour.
I think that if you watch the whole thing you'll find it both interesting and informative. No one should write nasty or stupid comments about what happened. It was a serious hearing and was happened appropriately.

She couldn't prove that the language on the ballot was misleading. There's a difference between bringing a case out of emotion, and bringing a case on the merits. This seems to have been Stop Grove Bay's m/o the entire time this circus has gone on. Further, the appeal goes to the Third District Court of Appeal.
