Luxury Vintage at Fashionably Conscious event

Once again, the Village of Merrick Park is putting its fashion foot forward in the name of charity. The luxury retail and dining destination brings back the highly coveted Fashionably Conscious fundraising sale from Friday September 20 through Sunday September 22.

The vintage designer sale event offers heavily reduced pricing on donated items from the most coveted closets of Miami’s respected philanthropists and community leaders. Some highlights of the collected inventory from the charity hosts include men’s Gucci and Ferragamo shoes, YSL and Diane von Furstenberg dresses, Miu Miu and Prada shoes and items from Chanel, Valentino, Phillip Lim, Chloé, Lanvin and more.

The event kicks off Friday, September 20 with a VIP Preview Sale and Cocktail Reception for an entry donation of $25. The shopping continues on Saturday, September 21 with an all-day sale from 11 am to 5 pm and an entry donation of $10. It concludes on Sunday, September 22 with the Fashionably Conscious Clearance Sale, where everything must go! There will be heavily discounted prices on remaining items from 11 am to 3 pm, with an entry donation of only $5.

The weekend sale will return to the same retail space as last year, on the ground floor of Village of Merrick, located next to Lacoste. Karla Conceptual Event Experiences is designing the space for the sale with notably stylish concepts, while Vintage Liquors is supplying bubbly for shoppers.

With a fundraising goal of more than $100,000, this year’s sale is set to be the most impressive yet. Proceeds from the sale benefit Coconut Grove Cares’ The Barnyard Community Center, providing free vital services to the children and families of the historic West Grove community. As the organization’s primary annual fundraiser, Fashionably Conscious offers essential unrestricted funds to enable the organization’s operations.

This year, the organization debuts Host Chairs, including long-time supporters Lourdes Jofré-Collett, Raysa Fanjul and Rima Otrakji, set to take the beloved sale event to new heights. Hosts include Sarah Arison, Alicia Cervera, Margarita, Ana and Amanda Codina, Claudia de la Cruz, Nina Johnson, Whitney Kroenke, Darlene Perez, Alan Randolph, Frances Sevilla-Sacasa, Timothy Walker and more.
