Images from Coconut Grove past

We were talking about images of the old Grove a few weeks back. Well, a couple of friends were at the new cafeteria at South Miami Hospital and they had these two paintings on the wall. Two images from Coconut Grove circa late 1970s.

The top image looks to be the Greenstreets location and below is The Hanging Basket which was on Commodore Plaze at the time.

We cannot make out the artists. The top image looks as if the painter's name began with an "S."

This painting of The Hanging Basket looks as if the painter's name begins with a "G."

Maybe it's because I'm on a phone but I only see the signature and the view of the corner cafe.

The last business at that location, before the trend of outdoor seating started, was a cookie shop. I'm pretty sure that was early to mid 80's though, not the 70's.
What year was it that the old cement block sidewalks were torn out and the bricks put in?
