The ultimate in going green

I came upon this bicycle at PhilanthroFest last weekend; the frame is made of bamboo. It's called a BambooCo Cycle; a prototype from a Colombian company. 

They are looking for funding, I was tempted to send them to Shark Tank, but I didn't.

The village of Montebello in Cali, Colombia will benefit from sales of the bicycle. They take pride in the origin of the bike and have a couple of instructors who will train about 10 people in building the bikes. There is a six month business plan that will expand the building of the bikes into other villages in Colombia.

And then there is this bicycle. I saw it online somewhere.
