Runners come out for "Compatriots 5K Run"

Local runners got together Saturday morning for the Compatriots run to raise money for the Boston tragedy.

Other groups around the country did the same thing, including NYC Social, DC Social, Jersey Club Sports, Stay & Play Sports & Social, Delaware Sports Leagues,SportsLink, Underdog Seattle & Atlanta Sports & Social Club.

The 5K run was held in honor of all those affected by the horrific tragedy at the Boston Marathon. The course started at Florida Running Company and made its way through the Grove, it included the running trails at Kennedy Park.

Afterwards, everyone gathered at the Sandbar.

All of the proceeds were donated to the One Fund Boston.
