Romantic Russians Concert at Ransom Everglades

The Alhambra Orchestra, with Zoe Zeniodi conducting, will present a free program of beloved Russian masterpieces featuring pianist Mia Vassilev (left) in the Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2, together with Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 on Sunday, April 7 at 7 pm.

Alhambra Orchestra is Miami's community orchestra, now celebrating its 23rd season of making great music accessible to all. Dr. Vassilev is professor of piano at Barry University and director of the Miami Piano Circle. Dr. Zoe Zeniodi, conductor and pianist, earned her graduate degrees at the University of Miami, was recently selected as assistant conductor of the Florida Grand Opera, and she also conducts the Broward Symphony. Admission and parking are free; no reservations needed except for large groups.
