Friends of Classical Music present two free shows

South Florida Friends of Classical Music is presenting two free performances at The Steinway Piano Gallery in Coral Gables.
First up, they are featuring Ivan Davis (left) in a Piano Masterclass. Ivan is an internationally renowned pianist. A few of his career highlights include his debut at New York City's Town Hall in 1959. He made his international debut at the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. In 1960, he signed with CBS Records and began a 60 concert cross-country tour. 

Ivan has toured the world with several major orchestras including the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, the Cleveland Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra and the Spanish National Orchestra.

The Master Class is on Thursday, March 28, from 1 to 6 pm at the Steinway Piano Gallery It is free and open to the public.
On Friday, March 29, Pianist Martin Camacho (left) will be in concert at the Steinway Piano Gallery. The performance will feature rare Scandinavian piano compositions for piano Grieg, Sostenvold, and Saeverud.

Showtime is 6:30 pm. It is open and free to the public.
