Checking out the "new" Bookstore in the Grove
They moved around the block to the corner of Mary Street and Florida Avenue, at the Mayfair Atrium, the former Cielo nightclub space.
It's quite elegant. Really upscale and there is lots more room. The food counter is very long and there is space to spread out.
They have all their usual goodies and then some. The kitchen is huge compared to the former location and there's lots going on there since so many people can now move around in there and get things done.
You can still get breakfast, lunch and snacks, and my favorite the bagels are fresh and ready when you are and of course Sunday is still waffle day -- Waffle Sunday, and I'm told by Felice Dubin, co-owner of the Bookstore that Mimosa Saturday may be on the horizon.
The children's area is much larger and there are lots more items.
And there is plenty of outdoor seating under the roof of the Atrium, so rain or shine, it's a great spot to hang out.
The tourists have found the Bookstore as well as the locals and it seems to be a great fit.
Felice says, "I love the new place. It's beautiful. We're very excited to be here and very thankful to Mayfair for making this happen!"
If you haven't checked it out, stop by. They are open seven days a week from 7 am to 10 pm.
