With alll due disrespect, that place is simply innaccessible for the average visitor. I simply avoid it like the plague. Tried to visit a couple times, it's impossible without a hotel room or tons of money to waste.
If you want to spend 900$ or so for a room, a get bad service, go right ahead.

How can you comment on the bad service if you've never been? Also, only their most expensive rooms are over $900

Their lobby is brand new and I hear that the new lounge menu pricing is just like other grove hangouts. I heard from someone their that they want to be accessible to locals in the grove and get a following.

Oh, unfortunately it did have to enter those premises a few times over the past 8 years. They are full of it, to put it nicely, trust me, at least they were for many years. I've been to Hotels all over the world, and this Ritz Carlton simply blows, for numerous reasons: bad service, overprices and way too presumptous.
