Thursday night summer racing on the bay

There's a new tradition on Biscayne Bay, it's casual Thursday night summer racing on the bay. It starts at Quick Flash, which is outside the Sea Plane Channel in Coconut Grove. Start time is 6:15 pm.

Those needing a vessel should contact Sail Laser who is sending out Bahias for $99 per boat or $20 per person as long as they have at least one qualified skipper with each vessel. Sail Laser is located at 2476 South Bayshore Drive, telephone 305-285-3442 and you should plan to arrive at 5 pm.

After the race, everyone heads to Scotty's. The first pitcher for the winners is provided by Sea Tow Key Biscayne.
