City Manager recommends David One for Scotty's
The City Manager has chosen David One as the developer for the Scotty's Landing property. This is his recommendation to the City Commission. Now that he has made his decision, all the info on the RFP may be seen here.

Just looked at the renderings on document 8. I think it looks great! Looks like a nice clean space with a very open feel. Now you will be able to see the waterfront from panamerican drive. I think its going to be really nice.
I just skimmed through the RFP quickly and it looks like it will be much better than Scotty's while keeping the same vibe and atmosphere. I was there last weekend and the service was poor as usual and took forever just to get one beer. Next time I will just get a six pack from Fresh Market and just sit on the lawn because the only reason I go to Scotty's is for the view.
Hopefully, this new place will have better service, better food and keep the prices reasonable.
Amateurs: buy the first beer from the bar and then find a table. Done
When is the next Village Council meeting? The website is completely useless.
