Radio Disney visits CocoWalk for Family Day

Last weekend, CocoWalk came to life with laughter, music, games, prizes, and pets when Radio Disney visited. It was the perfect lead up to that night's Gallery Walk, which made it a full day for many in Coconut Grove.


The big attraction was the chance to win two tickets to the sold-out One Direction concert, coming to South Florida on July 1. To enter, kids had to correctly count how many items were tucked away in the new Toyota Hybrid on display. All the items were different shaped things hidden inside the car, although they were actually all in plain site, so if you concentrated and spent some time checking the car out, it was not so bad!


The Radio Disney host and road crew kept the music pumping and the games and prizes flowing. It was obvious that all the kids and parents were having a delightful time. The Humane Society of Miami brought lovable pets to adopt, the 3-and-a-half- pound award-winning Therapy Dog "Sweetpea” was a huge hit with all ages, and friendly face painters added to the merry atmosphere.


There were smiles all day. The pets, the games, the music all made for a perfect family day.
