Slow Food Miami Happy Hour at Lokal
Slow Food Miami is having a Happy Hour at Lokal Burgers and Beer (3190 Commodore Plaza) tonight, February 28, from 6 to 8 pm.The Slow Food Miami Happy Hours are fun, social and casual. It's a chance to chat with other volunteer board members and talk about Snail of Approval nominations. Slow Food Miami embraces local growers and artisan food makers who use sustainable methods of production and pay fair wages to the workers. They respect the environment.
The Slow Food Movement is a global movement, it's grassroots with supporters in 150 countries who link the pleasure of good food wtih a commmitment to their community and the environment. It's a non-profit member supported association. It's the opposite of "fast food."
