Chamber is holding Thanksgiving food drive
The Chamber of Commerce in conjuction with South Florida Urban Ministries is having a Thanksgiving Meal Delivery Program. The Ministry is celebrating 11 years of helping others.
Please fill a grocery bag and help make this Thanksgiving memorable for families in the county.
Items you can include are instant mashed potatoes, boxed stuffing, canned green beens, chicken broth, turkey gravy, canned cranberry sauce, etc. Anything you think would be good for Thanksgiving.
This year they hope to feed 5500 people at 10 locations. If you cannot fill a grocery bag, please consider donating money. Only $20 will provide an entire family with hot, delicious meal on Thanskgiving.
There are premiere sponsorship opportunities, too, where you can donate much more.

The Chamber is collecing the grocery bags full of food at their next event on November 16 at the Sonesta, or you can drop off the bags to Sandy at Regions Bank (3516 Main Highway). The next Chamber mixer is at the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel at the 8th floor skybar, the raffle for the Children's Mosaic tile art will be held that night, as well. It will be Wednesday, November 16 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm.
November 14, is the last day to drop off the food at Regions Bank.
