Abacos sailing seminar at Grove Sailing Club
One of the many reasons Miami can claim the title "A Sailor's Paradise" is our proximity to the islands of the Bahamas. And you haven't really sailed the Bahamas until you have sailed the Abacos.
On Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 pm, the Coconut Grove Sailing Club (CGSC) will hold a free seminar titled "Sailing the Abacos." A favorite "rendezvous" spot for sailors, the Abacos offer some of the most enchanting spots around for cruising. Veteran CGSC sailors Sean Connett, and Alyn and Janice Pruett will share their travelogues from past Abacos sails, detail can't-miss anchorages and harbors, and offer guidance on the best way to enjoy the Abacos by sail.
The talk is open to all sailors and would-be sailors and should last about two hours. All are welcome. The Sailing Club is at 2990 S. Bayshore Drive.
