Protecting the Grove's tree canopy
Yesterday afternoon, one of our local arborists contacted me. I was told that some guy on Jackson and Virgina was "tree hacking."
I tweeted it out and got in touch with TreeWatch. They went out, so did others via the tweet, and the guy was stopped. He said he had a permit but he didn't. He was fined $500.00.
There is a Coconut Grove Tree Ordinance. The Village Council has it posted on their website as a PDF here.
