Sierra Club holding meeting and pot luck dinner
The Sierra Club is having an Italian Potluck mini fundraiser at the Sailing Club (2990 S. Bayshore Drive) on Monday, August 8 from 7:30 to 9:00 pm.
This is also the Sierra Club's August general meeting. Everyone is welcome. Please bring an Italian inspired dish that will feed at least six. There will be a $5 donation for those that don't bring food. They will provide a few vegetarian pasta dishes and iced tea.
What you can bring: More pasta and main dishes, appetizers, salads, deserts, breads, wine, and other beverages.
Don't forget to bring your own set up: a plate, knife, fork, spoon, and cup. Should you need it, set-ups will be available for $1.00.Dinner starts at 7:30 pm and at 8:00 pm awards will be presented to some well-deserving Sierrans. Betsy Grass will then do a slide show presentation about her trip to the Pantanal and a Jaguar Preserve in the jungles of Brazil.
