Join the full moon paddle boarders on Saturday

Adventure Sports Miami (2750 SW 26th Avenue) is having a Full Moon Paddle Boarding Event on Saturday, August 13. Stand up paddle boarding is the fastest growing sport in the world, it started in Hawaii and has spread.

Anyone interested should meet at Scotty's Landing at 6:15 pm. They will provide boards, but you'll need to let them know in advance, the rental fee is $30. If you don't RSVP a board, there won't be one for you unless you bring your own. And anyone is welcome to participate by bringing their own board.

The route is as follows: Start by paddling from the Scotty's Marina they will either head towards the Barnacle or towards Kennedy Park,depending on conditions. Afterwards the group will paddle back to the small island located by Scotty's to hang out, watch the moon and have a picnic.

Paula Ambrosio-Marinkovic will be bringing a small cooler with water and snacks, everyone is welcome to bring their drinks/snacks in her cooler. She will carry it!

Everyone will have to sign waiver forms before they head out. In order to save time, please email Paula and she will email you the PDF. She can be reached at paulaambr@gmail.com.
Bring: flash lights, glow sticks or whatever you may have that glows in the dark. She can bring you a life jacket, please let her know your size in advance.

Also good to have: mosquito repellent, a light wind jacket in case you get cold, a waterproof bag for your wallet, keys, camera or phone and cash.
