Grand Opening celebration at The Loft this weekend

The Loft (3190 Commodore Plaza) is having a Grand Opening party on Saturday, August 27, starting at 7 pm. Come out for music, wine hors d'oeuvres and cigars.

Musicians, artists and clothing and jewelry designers stop by The Loft often, here is Alex Hansam, fashion designer (left), with The Loft owner Yvonne Rosemeier, also a fashion designer of the YR Couture line.

Alex, an arts lover and traveler, moved to Miami from Dominican Republic and after designing for private clients in Miami and New York, launched her first line under her name in 2008. Alex Hansam is a fashion expert for "Despierta America" a daily morning show on Univision.

The vibrant energy of Miami keeps the designer in constant vanguard, and her use of fine fabrics and materials is what keeps keeps her clientele interested and growing.
