Finally, a decent BLT! And Conch Fritters, too!
If you follow me on Facebook, you know of my plight a few weeks ago -- trying to find a BLT in Coconut Grove. A "real" one. I had one place ask me what type of cheese I wanted, another wanted to add peppers and onions, another place crunches up the bacon, so that it's bacon bits.
But finally, Robbie Parks (above), has opened Bahama Robb's Kitchen.

Robbie calls this the "Eye-of-the-Storm BLT, it's $8.50 at his new place, Bahama Robb's Kitchen, which is inside the Kwik Stop at 3135 Grand Avenue, the former Latin sandwich place.
Robbie also offers Conch Fritters ($7.50) and Conch Salad ($9.50). There is Onion Rings, called "Bahama Bobb's beautifully, beer-battered, or boiled pull bands" ($5.75) and Mac and Cheese ($4.50) and fries and a soup of the day and lots more.
Check it out, they even have something like an Italian Beef Sandwich (minus the peppers), which I have not had since Chicago's closed down, that was my fav there. It's the "Original Briby," slow spun, secretly spiced, sliver sliced, roast beef, filling a warm toasted roll, served with natural au jus, with your choice of sauce. That is $8.00.
I am headed over to Bahama Robb's Kitchen now, how about you?
