$900 raised at yesterday's Boobilcious Bake Sale
The neighbors came out in force for yesterday's Boobilicious Bake Sale in the North Grove. They raised $900 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Heather Harary provided her amazing baked goodies and she lent her house and pool to host the event. Alysia d'Alembert baked some very creative cupcakes and she provided the hot dogs and snow cone machine and her husband, Josh, was willing to drive to and fro storage multiple times. Katherine Socarras juggled a bunch of kids ages four and under and still had time to make the most delicious goodies, between her full time job, too.
Angel Li made delicious empenadas and Joe "The Meat Guy" dontated hot dogs. The Rusk family provided the mini keg (which really contributed to people's generosity!).
For all of you who were unable to make it, Iris Reijnen, who coordinated the whole event for the charity, is not there yet! She needs more $$$ to reach her fundraising goal. If you couldn't make it to the bake sale, she would greatly appreciate your donation at http://www.the3day.org. Click the "donate to participant" button on the right and fill in her name.
