Hare Krishna festival and parade is this weekend
The Hare Krishna's are having the Festival of India on Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6.Saturdays event is in Peacock Park from 10 am to 9 pm. It all starts at 10 am with the Ratha Yatra Parade starting at Virginia Street and Day Avenue, which will make its way to the park. The world famous Mayapuris and other well known Kirtaneers will provide entertainment at the park with music, dance, drama, and ecstatic kirtans.
The 12-Hour Kirtan Festival will take place the next day, Sunday March 6 from 9 am to 9 pm at the Temple (3220 Virginia Street). Immerse your senses in two full days of exotic entertainment, meditative music, dance and delicious vegetarian cuisine.
