Coconut Grove Gallery celebrating 25 years

gallery
The Coconut Grove Gallery & Interiors (2884 Bird Avenue) is celebrating 25 years in Coconut Grove! On Friday, March 25, enjoy a spectacular evening at their "Dancing in the Streets" party from 7 to 11 pm. There will be music, dancing, great food and gallery treasures.

The gallery features furniture and accessories of both traditional to contemporary styles along with lots of fine art. If you drive by on Bird Avenue, you have seen the bright green building. The gallery has taken over the whole building little by little. They started at one end and have finally encompassed the whole block.

“25 years is just the beginning – we can’t wait to see what’s next!” says Janel Kuhl, second generation owner.

The Coconut Grove Gallery & Interiors started as the Grove Frame Gallery, with 1000 square feet of space, today they have grown to 15,000 square feet, and one whole room is still dedicated to framing.

They attribute their success to focusing on exceptional customer service, eclectic style and quality products that hold up as well as this business has.

And they have some of the items we were looking for on our Grove wish list. Janel contacted me after reading the story to inform me that the gallery has a full bed and bath department including bath towels, decorative and functional pillows and bed sheets. Who knew? Love it!

The gallery is open from 10-6 Monday through Saturday with an extended 7:30 closing on Wednesdays featuring wine & cheese. The gallery hosts many events from special tent sales to book signing events. Not too long ago they
hosted Miami historian Arva Moore Parks who spoke about Coconut Grove history.
