Two meetings this week about Mercy project

The Village Council is meeting on Thursday, January 20 at the Coconut Grove Sailing Club (2990 S. Bayshore Drive) at 7 pm. The main item on the agenda is the proposed Mercy Hospital development. All concerned neighbors are asked to attend.

The total agenda includes:

* Approval of By-Law Amendments - David Wells
* Approval of Prior Minutes - Kate Callahan
* Mercy Hospital Development - Michelle Niemeyer
* Pointe Group Update - Renita Ross Samuels-Dixon
* Officer Elections - David Wells
* Village West Concerns & Updates - Pierre Sands
* Village West Kiosks - Jihad Rashid
* Thelma Gibson Education/Housing Project - Jihad Rashid
* Concerns regarding Grove Direction - Mr. Ambrister
* Treasurer’s Report - Renita Ross Samuels-Dixon

The night before, on January 19, at City Hall, the Planning and Zoning Board will discuss the proposed project, as well.
