New location for Friday Night Wine Tasting
Wine Educator, Barry Alberts, has moved his well-known Friday Night Wine Tasting Series to the Sonesta Bayfront Hotel (2889 McFarlane Road) for it's 19th season. This past Friday night drew a very large crowd, not only for the delicous wine that was featured, but the weather was amazing out by the pool area of the Panorama Restaurant and Sky Lounge on the 8th floor. Above are Allison McCreary, Lee Clark, Caroline Clark and Barry Alberts.
Police Major Jorge Colina stopped by with his wife Sandra, at right is Ed Prelaz.
Roger Chai-onn and Aldane Adams, of FastSigns stopped in. FastSigns is a sponsor of the Coconut Grove Arts Festival every year, providing all the signage, they came for the poster unveiling and stayed for the wine tasting.
The tastings are every Friday night from 7:00 to 9:30 pm. The cost is $15, reservations are not required. Each week features 10 wines by theme, grape type, region or country of origin and includes a complimentary artisan cheese platter. Along with the Tasting Series Panorama Restaurant & Sky Lounge features a special fixed price three course dinner menu.
