Family in need in Coconut Grove

This came in from my friends Lili and Santiago:

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

We received this letter recently from St Alban's Day Nursery in the West Grove, regarding a Grandmother who is raising 7 grandchildren all by herself (also having recently undergone a double mastectomy). They are in need of EVERYTHING: From a lawyer to help with custody, to furniture (they have none) bedding and clothing.

We plan to answer Dr. Sand's plea for helping this courageous woman, I know that many of you are in position of helping out, and perhaps looking for a worthy cause. Please consider this
one. Anything you can do, from financial donation, to donating actual items on the list will be appreciated.

Items can be dropped off at St Albans - 3465 Brooker Street, Coconut Grove (see instructions in the attached letter, please click on it and it will open larger, making it easy to read). Contact Katherine Sands at 305 443-1234.

Please spread the word, and let's make a difference in this family's life!

Wishing all a very joyous holiday season,
Liliana Dones & Santiago Villegas,
