The Burgundy Room is almost ready to open

burgundy
Marshall Crane and Lonnie Moore handled the catering the Grove's Concierge Night last night. Marshall and Lonnie are the new owners of The Burgundy Room, taking over the space at the former Crazy Pianos space.

They took me on a tour of the new Burgundy Room. There's a lot less red and a lot more black. The walls are pinkish (maybe burgundy) the famous and infamous faces that were murals on the walls are gone and for the time being so are the red pianos. They will be replaced with black pianos and the theme will not just be dueling pianos. There will be live entertainment every night, but different themes, like perhaps one night might be a 1970s or '80s night. The dueling pianos theme may be one or two nights a week only.

Marshall and Lonnie, both in from Los Angeles, are crazy and I mean that in a great way. They fit in with all the Grovites last night at the concierge event and really will enhance the Grove and CocoWalk. They both said they really enjoyed the Grove's little town feel and chose us over places like South Beach for their new venue.

They asked me to tell you that they are looking for staff of all kinds. The club is trying to open in a couple of weeks and they need it all: bartenders, wait staff, managers, kitchen staff, etc. Stop in any weekday from 11 to 6 to apply.
