Potluck Cooking Classes at the Ritz-Carlton

For the next three Saturdays, November 6, 13 and 20, Executive Chef Philippe Pinon at the Ritz-Carlton (3300 SW 27 Avenue), will be giving pre-holiday Potluck Cooking Classes.

He'll create signature potluck dishes with ingredients from Whole Foods and will use his own herb garden to prepare impressive dishes costing less than $10 per guest for any holiday party.

On November 6, Appetizers are on the menu: Harvest Salad with Spinach, Italian Frisee and Endive, Cranberries, Spicy Pecans, Blue Cheese, Poached Pear and Pumpkin Seed Vinaigrette. Also Sweet Potato and Orange Bisque.

On November 13, it's Entrees: Organic slow-roasted turkey with dried Papaya, Cherry and Garden Oregano Stuffing.

On November 20 it's Pear Walnut Pie for dessert.

Cost is $52 per person, $10 is deducted for valet parking. A part of the proceeds go to Feeding South Florida. Classes are from 4 to 6 pm each week. For info: 305-644-4680.
