My new favorite thing
There's something new at The Grove Spot (3324 Virginia Street) -- fish tacos. They're called Blackened Fish Tacos and they are incredible.The recipe is David's (left); it's a secret spicy sauce that really gives them a punch. The fish is a light Vietnamese Swai, very much like flounder and sole. They are served with a salsa, guacamole and cheddar cheese on the side.
They are $12.95 for three, but mention Tom's Tacos or the Grapevine special and they'll knock off 10%.
The catch (no pun intended) is that they don't have them daily, but if enough of you ask for them, they will be put on the menu daily.
They really are worth trying. They are my new favorite thing and I'd like to see them on the menu daily, so please, stop by, ask for Tom's Tacos and enjoy!
You can also use your Code 33 card Monday through Thursday at The Grove Spot from 7-9 pm and get two entrees for the price of one.
