Lots of ideas kicked around at Strut meeting
The Mangoheads met at The Grove Spot last night to plan out this year's King Mango Strut, which is December 26. Above from left are Debra Starbuck, Antoinette Baldwin and L Powers. The group came up with fresh ideas for this year's Strut as last year's Sturt was shown on a large screen behind the stage.

Raffle tickets are on sale. There are 65 great prizes, with first prize being a 7-day Caribbean Cruise for two from Star Clipper Cruises. Prizes also include lots of gift certificates for local restaurants going up to $100; there is jewelry and books and art and salon services. Tickets are just $5 each, a book is $50. A great part of this is that on the back of each ticket there are coupons for Grove businesses like a $5 coupon for Milam's and 2 for 1 breakfast at The Grove Spot.
