Grove putting best foot forward for Art Basel
Monday, November 29 Art Starts in the Grove with the first Art Basel event in Miami. All the Grove galleries will be open with new exhibits. Large sculptures by artist John Angee, will be exhibited at the Mayfair Atrium, they are scheduled to be installed on November 22.
The art event is being advertised all over Miami and the hope is that the visitors who are in town for Art Basel, will partake of what the Grove has to offer.
The event is open to everyone, trolleys will shuttle people around town, starting at the registration point, which is the Mayfair Atrium. Guests will register there as well. And at the end of the night, that is the location of an after party, which is scheduled to be from 9 to 11 pm.
Art will be all around the Atrium and guests will be able to sit and visit. The Miami Conservatory of Music will provide the music, both students and teachers will perform. The Cielo night club space will be incorporated in the after party, where food and drinks will be available.
