"Great drumming last night!"

There is so much going on during Gallery Walk each month that it's hard to make it to every event. We're glad we managed to get to the Drum Circle at Florintine Plaza last night. As usual, Karen Deilke and Liz Gibson were front and center with Mark Richards.


The Drum Circle draws all types and at times is so packed, you can't get near it. People dance, hoola hoop and of course beat drums. You can hear the sound as you walk up Main Highway or down Fuller Street, it's a steady, melodious sound, with it's only drums, there are no other instruments. Families always stop by, the kids love it and they are more than welcome to grab a seat and a drum and join in.
