A&M participates in Coastal Clean Up Day
Last weekend was Miami-Dade Coast Cleanup Day. Members of the Arts & Minds School's Environmental Club participated at Kennedy Park, one of the locations on clean up day.
From left are Mily Lopez, Ishani Falconi, Instructor and Co-Sponsor Andrea Dehaan, Summer Otero, Kevin Tanis, PE Instructor and Co-Sponsor Joselyn Garcia Rodriguez.
The Environmental Club has given a green status to A&M by helping to clean our surroundings, recycling cans, plastic bottles and paper products. The Environmental Club is about not only saving the world but it builds leadership skills, critical thinking and the ability to work in groups.
The Kennedy Park shoreline seems to always have paper, plastic and other items along the shore. Thanks to the A&M team, it's much cleaner today.
