It's more than just a Pumpkin Carving Contest

Barracuda's 2nd Annual Great Pumpkin Carving Contest is Friday, October 29, from 7 pm to Midnight on Fuller Street, which will be closed and turned into a block party. The Robby Hunter Band will be performing.

You can register at the event or pre-register at Barracuda Bar and Grill for all events that night. Barracuda is at 3035 Fuller Street.

$10 Donation to the Thelma Gibson Health Initiative is required.

Bring your pumpkin already to be judged on the night of the event.
Must be 18 to enter contest
No knives at event
Must be carved and hollowed out.
Painting is allowed
Multiple gourds can be used
Any gourd can be used
Organic material can be used for decoration
Lighting from inside is encouraged

There is a Pet Costume Contest, too. The Pet Costume Rules:

Pet handler must be 18
No Categories
Pets must be crowd friendly and well behaved
At any time they may ask you to remove your pet from the event
All pets must be legal to own without a permit
No tigers or lions!
Please call ahead for liger rules
