FestiDan Block Party coming to Coconut Grove

FestiDan is coming to Coconut Grove on Saturday, August 21, probably starting about 2 pm.

The block party will be in front of The Grove Spot on Virginia Street between Oak and Florida Avenues. Tickets are on sale now at $25 each, for pre-sale pricing. The block party includes lots of live music. All money raised will go to the ALS Foundation and the Arts & Minds High School right here in the Grove.

FestiDan started six years ago as a Slip 'N' Slide party on an abandoned lot in front of Dan Travieso's house to celebrate his birthday. Before you know it, the thing grew and is now a large charity event.
