Dharma Studio presents new artists' works
Artists Adalis Soto, left and Jeannette Aquino, had art on display at the Dharma Gallery at last Saturday's Gallery Walk. They were proud to show and talk about their art with all visitors. Adalis is a sculptor and Jeanette is a painter.
Tom Pratt stopped in to enjoy the art, that's Natalie Morales, one of the owners of the Dharma Studio, which is a yoga studio, but for the first Saturday Gallery Walks, it turns into an amazing art space.
This piece by Odalis Soto is entitled "Adonis," and is said to be the spitting image of her son, even down to the curly golden locks, which he shaved off just a week ago. It is ceramic, but looks like wood and metal.
This bird is by Odalis, too.
"Reflection," was on display, a large Dali-like piece by Jeannette Aquino.
The Dharma Studio is at 3170 Commodore Plaza. While the art is no longer on display, you may get info on the artists and their work there or by calling 305-461-1777.
