Finally, both corners of Main and Commodore will be buzzing again with the highly anticipated opening of Lulu by Greenstreet's Sylvano Bignon and Eric Boucher. Lulu, at 3105 Commodore Plaza opens today for lunch and dinner -- softly. They will have their grand opening soon, but for now, the staff is learning the ropes. Last night, a select few who emailed Lulu for invitations, were treated to a sneak peak.
The menu consists of lots of comfort food from Fried Green Tomatoes and Churrasco to Truffle Macaroni and Cheese.
On the Lunch Menu:
Salads: Asian steak, Shrimp Cilantro and Calamari to name a few.
Sandwiches include a Veggie sandwich, Turkey, Mahi Mahi and Chicken among other things.
Entrees are "Today's Catch" and Chimichuri Churrasco.
Small plates, which would be considered appetizers or tapas are: Roasted Dates, Kobe Beef Sliders, Shichimi Corn, Chorizo, Burrata and Lamb Ribs to name a few items.
The Dinner Menu offers:
Organic Rotisserie Chicken, NY Strip and Mussels for entrees and includes "snacks" like Crispy Hominy and Mixed Herb Olives. Sides include Jalapeno Mashed, Fries, Roasted Asparagus and more.
They offer pitchers, specialty drinks, coffee drinks and dessert drinks. All wine is only $25 per bottle and $8 per glass, which includes everything from Pinot Noir to Pino Grigio, Riesling, Albarino, Cianti and Burgundy.
