Watersports and Eco-Island summer camps
Wondering how to keep your kids from getting bored this summer? Check out our Shake-A-Leg Miami Watersports Camp and Eco-Island Adventure Camp. The Shake-A-Leg Miami Watersports Camp is for kids ages 8-14 and is a two-week long camp filled with fun sailing and boating activities consisting of kayaking and windsurfing.
Campers will learn sailing theory, technique and how to sail various boats from Sunfish to windsurfers to sloops, as well as capsize recovery. The price is $500 per two week session with the first session beginning June 14 and running every two weeks through August 20. The Eco-Island Adventure Camp is also for kids ages 8-14, and is held on Shake-A-Leg Miami’s own Eco-Islands on the shores of Biscayne Bay.
The Eco-Island Adventure Camp teaches kids about South Florida’s unique aquatic ecosystems through hands-on science activities and will feature camp activities including sailing, art, music, snorkeling, nature walks, swimming and kayaking, all based on environmental and conservation themes.
