Annual softball game raises money for school
Coconut Grove Elementary School was presented with a check for $1000 recently. The donation came from Avatar, EWM, ReMax Advance, and Shell Lumber, who raised the money by participating in a softball charity event.

The City donated Peacock Park for a day and Crossland Mortgage's Steve Fox provided refreshments and volunteered as the umpire.
ReMax beat EWM in game one, and Shell Lumber outscored Avatar in game two. This was the third year for the charity event.
