Woman's Club celebrates Art Month
The Woman's Club had their monthly luncheon on Thursday. From left, Donna Sweeny on the Board of Mercy Hospital and the Coconut Grove Arts Festival; Doreen LoCicero, Woman’s Club newsletter co-editor, co-chair of the Young Artists Gallery (YAG) and owner of CrepeMaker in Coral Gables; guest speaker Christina Favretto, head of the special collections at UM Libraries and Amy Goodhart, Woman's Club Board member.
Christina spoke on the importance of maintaining an ongoing history of families via diaries, articles and photographs.
As it is Arts Month in Coconut Grove, the luncheon decor was done by Coconut Grove artists Karen Deilke and AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt.
