Lulu is coming to Coconut Grove
Lulu will be Greenstreets grown up -- 25 years later, the Greenstreets of 2010. Picture a lady just coming out of college, now she is a grown woman, she acts differently, dresses differently and eats differently. Lulu will cater to her. At least this is how Sylvano (above right), owner of Greenstreets and co-owner of the new restaurant with Eric Boucher (above left), explains it.
It only took 20 years for Eric to move from Greenstreet's across the street to Lulu as a co-owner. Lulu will open around May 1 at the former Le P'tit Paris location (3464 Main Highway).
A few items on the menu will include Thai Steak Salad, Sashimi Salad and home made Smoked Salmon.
Stay tuned . . .

Great to see 2 of the Grove's best guys and businessmen showing their faith in the Grove by making an even bigger investment. Let's all support this new restaurant.

When Michelle Niemyer asked the owner of Greenstreets at a Village Council meeting regarding 3:00 o'clock closings if he had an opportunity to open a restaurant in the Grove NOW would he, he said No. Glad he changed his mind.
I don't remember that question and answer session. Perhaps Michelle Niemeyer does.
