Tomorrow's another day
Above, Edward Kelly Jr., Janal Montagna and Sebastian Imbriaco from the Chart House, braved the rain and cold to participate in the Great Taste of the Grove today. It's a shame that more people didn't come out. It ended up being a family day, and what I mean by that is the usual suspects, the "Grove Family," those who run and participate in most events. And we all had a good time in spite of the weather. We ate, drank and Monty Trainer even drove us around on his electric golf cart.
At left is Matthew Hale of CrepeMaker, at right is Peter Laird, Doreen LoCicero and Heather Bettner.
Here are Dean Santana and Samantha Perez of Crazy Pianos dishing out Lobster Ravioli and next to them, dishing out Penne a la Vodka are Emma Espinosa, Javier Pardo and Gilberto Barrera from Al Fresco; look at that steam.
Jeanette Perez from Ideas Restaurant, serves Gigi Leyva while Blake Burman of Channel 7 news interviews co-chair of the Great Taste of the Grove, Monty Trainer, who said, "We're waiting for the first snow flake."
Sunday, the weather report calls for 54 degrees and sunny. Hope to see you all then.

Tomorrow!!
It's always fun to sample the various Grove restaurants! I thought I came hungry, but still, I could not get to all of them. Have to come back tomorrow for the rest!
To those planning on coming by, the tents are larger this year and provide some shelter from the elements.
Tomorrow.
Maybe.
Too cold and wet to eat outside in south florida.
I felt so bad not coming down today. I like to support these events. My son is fighting the sniffles this weekend, and even as rotten a father as I am, I didn't feel it wise to take him out in the rain and cold today.
I'm hoping to attend tomorrow. Thanks, though to all those involved and all those who attended.

Props to all the troopers who made it out today, whether those working or coming to enjoy the food! I hope tomorrow has a better turn out in better weather.
Showed up at 4 with friends from Brickell, and the entire place was shut down. Passed another 8 or so walking down from Cocowalk and turned them away. Sorry the weather was so bad, but to abandon the place without any signage was not professional or neighborly.
Will not attend or recommend anything in the Grove ever again. I now understand why people say the Grove is dying.
^^ please stay in brickell. we do not want you in the grove.
