The Macallan Ice Ball event
Sylvano Bignon, owner of Greenstreet Café (3110 Commodore Plaza) has been telling me about this for some time and finally, Greenstreets is holding the Macallan Ice Ball event tomorrow night, January 20, at 9:00 pm.
The Macallan Ice Ball comes from Japanese culture, it's where artisans hand carve ice balls from massive slabs of ice that is so compact that it cools cocktails quickly and evenly and of course the ice ball melts very slowly, not diluting the drink.
Martin Daraz, The Macallan Brand Ambassador, will host this "tantalizing journey through the range of extraordinary single malts." If you enjoy single malt whiskey, this event is for you.
