"Indications are emerging that his charity, Yele Haiti, is not the best place for your money to go right now."

Gawker.com and the smokinggun.com say that funds will be better used by the Red Cross or UN or other disaster relief groups.

Read and then make up your mind!

Yele' will get my money.
They have the real inside of the troubles in Haiti.
Sure Red Cross & UN are great too.
They have their shortfalls also.

Wyclef Jean has proven himself as a real humanitarian.

Point is, please donate to the relief organizations of your choice. Just Help !

Peace and bless the people of Haiti.

We all want to help, but just be careful. No offense to Mr. Jean, but questions have been raised. This will be a very complicated relief mission. If you want to make sure your money is going to the people quickly, check charitynavigator.org.

Thanks to everyone trying to help!

Thanks, Hope. It it important that aid reaches the people of Haiti quickly and efficiently. You want as much of your dollar as possible to reach these people, fast. Many established relief organizations are experienced in doing this with less than 1% of your donations going to administrative costs. You can check donation allocations through their websites, or through sites such as charitynavigator.

It's nice to see everyone wanting to help. It would be great to get these generous donations quickly to the people who need it now.

This is just the beginning of a long and hard struggle for the people of Haiti.

Please help in anyway you can.

We hope to see you at the concert

Thank you

While his intentions are good, Wycleff should have thrown his support behind a reputable and already staffed organization that knows how to expedite aid from the US quickly and efficiently. Again, if you want your money to do the most good (ie. really help the people you're trying to help), check out the charity's website for their financials and specific game plan. That should always be posted.

May God bless Haiti
