Let's all agree to disagree; with respect
This Friday is the Chamber Luncheon which most of the movers and shakers of the Grove will be attendending. And you know what? When I attend these functions, I am treated with friendship and respect from everyone. So I promised someone once to be kinder and gentler and I'll try to get my views across more gently in the future. But we should all agree to this.
In regard to the Village of Center Grove (VOCG) homeowner's group, I like the people associated with it. I have lunch with them, I have volunteered with them at Taste of the Grove and partied with them at Chamber events, will see some of them at the Village Council meeting tomorrow, one of them handles my retirement account and my parent's also!
In clarification of my recent comment about the VOCG, it has come to my attention that it was said jokingly in an email to a friend, that she wouldn't be interested in joining the homeowners group since she was for 5 am and they were for 3 am. No one is ever prevented from joining or attending a meeting, which usually is at the Sailing Club and always posted here in the Grapevine ahead of time as an invitation for everyone to attend.
Everyone is working toward a better Grove and if people didn't care about the Grove they would not be working so hard to make it a better place. We may not all agree, but we do need to respect each other. We have to learn to attack the issue and not the person.

Thank you.
Yes, thank you.
ABOUT TIME
With what is going on in nearby Haiti, I really think you all are making a way to much about this of 3 am vs 5 am drinking till you drop. I think you should all get a life and maybe help out. That includes you to Grape.
Amen again, Sailfast.
I like this "can't we all just get along" sentiment. Keep it in mind as you start to leave a seething message and attack. We see each other around each corner of the Grove and we shouldn't pretend to be friends but be friends.
Sailfast, I so damn tired of your rightious indignation. What the hell have you done to help out the Hatian people? And please dont tell me you texted a $5 donation. People like you are a joke.
If you're not interested in actually doing something meaningful for them then keep your big mouth shut!
While the sentiment is nice, it's fake. Yes, most people are nice to your face, but that doesn't mean they're not attacking you behind your back. We have a lot of those people in the grove.
So, while I'll do my best to be civil, and I always have, I will not play nice or pull punches. And for the record, I don't think the grapevine should either.
Oh, and sailfast - you are a joke. Just because a disaster happens one place in the world (and there is always one happening somewhere) does not mean that it's petty or wrong to debate issues in our lives. Don't try to grandstand, you look a fool.
Oh Mr. Anonymous, such a mouse hiding behind the Anonymous sign. This blog is owned and operated by Mr. Tom Falco who is the editor/publisher. Only he can (which he has done before) prevent people like you or others (who most probably lives in the Foreclosure capital of Brickell) from contributing to his blog. Tom easily knows who I am by my email address. And my dear lad just so you know I have already contributed to my country as I have done two tours in the US Army, one to Vietnam, following quickly to Cambodia. Then add on five years in the US Army Reserves.By the way second generation in the US Army. Should you doubt what I am saying, I will be very proud to show Tom my Veterans universal access identification card. SO big boy what have You done for our wonderful Country. PS yes I have donated both food, clothing and $$ at Publics it is the least we all can do. I am sorry I am just a proud born American who just wants to put the efforts where it really belongs. PS Grape if you donot want to publish this on your blog, I will understand, Thanks as always.
I actually don't see your email address or know who you are. Anonymous is anonymous here. -- Tom
